Tequila. You either love it, or you cringe at the thought of it. If you’re not a fan, then chances are you and José had one rough night, after which you swore him off for good. How can you live with a man who makes you sick to your stomach and leaves a bad taste in your mouth? I happen to enjoy tequila, but I don’t typically tango with it unless I’m sipping on a margarita.

How convenient that Halloween falls on a Friday this year. Always a busy one for Nashville haunts (pun intended), Halloween lures costumed adults to trick-or-treat for their favorite cold beverages at each and every one. I’ve heard it said that Halloween is the one night of the year when respectable girls can get away with dressing provocatively. Maybe that’s why the costume industry has turned everything from storybook characters to taxi drivers into something sexy. I even saw a very questionable Harry Potter costume last year, but I  won’t go there.

Didn’t get to go on that vacation you were dreaming about this summer? Yeah, neither did I. I blame the price of gas (and not my minor shopping habit) for robbing me of that much-needed trip to the beach that I had been hoping for since flip flops hit stores last spring. Instead, I decided to make the most of Nashville. It’s not nicknamed NashVegas for nothing, making it the perfect destination for an exciting stay-cation. I decided to invite my … do I dare say the “BF” word? Yeah, I decided to ask him on my stay-cation.

We’re all envious of Carrie Bradshaw. She has the shoes, she has the connections, and she has that amazing apartment in Manhattan that we can’t figure out how she affords. We’d hate her if we hadn’t devoted the past 10 years of our lives wanting to be like her and her three best friends. With the release of the Sex and the City (SATC) movie, we are reminded of high fashion, city life and most importantly the value of friendship and evenings on the town with the girls. 

Color is in this season! It’s the time of brightly patterned skirts and sandals. Summer is all about experiencing a vibrant and colorful mix of endless social possibilities. Get the girls together, and paint the town your favorite shade of fabulous.
